The National Housing Trust (NHT) is inviting persons who have contributed to the Trust in 2001 to apply for refunds for that year. The process is slightly different this year however as applications will only be taken online, this is an effort to make applications as hassle free as possible and less time consuming.
Application process
- Log on to the Official National Housing Trust Website at http://www.nht.gov.jm
- Click on the “Apply for Contributions banner on the right side of the website
- Read carefully what is needed as well as the F.A.Q. and refunds overview
- Request assistance if necessary or visit the NHT office for help
Although applications can also be made for other years, priority will be given for 2001 refunds.

My first application was made on 7/4/10.
Amount was sent to bank as stated by NHT but returned for error in account number.
I have not received an acknowledgement for my re-submission on the 23/4/10.
Receipt indicated I would hear something within 3 days. It is now 14 days and I have not received any acknowledgment to this new application.
Please let me know the position.

I have been a contributor to the NHT since its inception. I have never gotten a refund. I have submitted my application for refund for 2002 but was told that no contributions were made for me for 2002. The Company I worked for then is JURIDICO MANAGEMENT LTD. How can I find out how much is owing for me up to 2006 when I was with that Company?
