August 20, 2008
Just minutes after Usain Bolt electrified China and the world with his world record performance in the 200m Melaine Walker shifted the celebrations into another gear when she won another gold for Jamaica in the 400m hurdles in an Olympic and national record time of 52.64 seconds.

Melaine’s victory propelled Jamaica to the top of the athletic medal table with 7 medals 4 of which are gold and the other 3 silver.

Thats awesome! Back to back, I’m really proud of how Jamaica making moves and enjoying the momentum along the way, this is truly a treat and I know we will do it again!
Also I like the style for her track uniform, it looks so cute!
Wat a way to cap the day. This girl been saying from all along that she is going to win and she wants a record at that. And she aimed and achieved. All everyone saying that she not jumping right and blah blah….(like Danny), but as my colleague said to me when she won “her jumping is right for her cause she winning” Go Jamaica Go! Mi want at least 3 more gold!
MY WHOLE SHOP WAS FILED WITH JAMAICAN’S AND WE WERE SCREAMING
