This morning I had a feeling to watch cool runnings as this film has always filled me with inspiration, proudness and happiness. I love the film it makes me laugh, roar and cry. it touched and crosses so many boundaries.
I have just read the facts of the Jamaica bobsled team and the film tells the story well and captures the inspiration that the original team gave the country.

Hi – I just watched the film “Cool Runnings”. Then I read the Wikipedia page about the Jamaica national bobsled team and was surprised to read how close the film was to real life. I hope they keep it going. Regards, from the UK.

I’m saddened to hear that there was a lapse, and hope that all the Prize money didn’t effect the integrity of the original events and it’s history. THAT’s what I would want to experience on my visit to Jamacia. Cool Runnings. THAT’s what we come to see. The true people with an inner yearning to achieve a dream. I get sentimental when I watch Cool Runnings. My eyes fill with tears of joy . . . It’s on TBS this morning, and when it showed that the ‘annual’ race was in November, I got this Crazy idea for an excuse to go to Jamaica in November, but now that the race has already happened this year, I’ll have to make my plans for another time.
