After looking at the clips of the independence highlights i felt like i wanted to cry wishing i was in jamaica to share in all that excitement . That was well put together and organized i last saw float in the 70’s and just to see the clips man i felt overwhelmed, hoping next year jamaicans can look forward to a great independence gala such as that one.

I recall the days when as a child i would be glued infront of the television waiting to see the floats but the highlight was the images of my heroes coming into the stadium. I dreamt of even carrying one of them. i was so proud to be on the internet and seeing that has returned to jamaica. For that alone i wish i was not in the states. So its not so now i have to resort to pictures of this beautiful site. I pray it will be available on cd or video. Sweet sweet Jamaica.
