I am indeed flabbergasted in the result of the general election. How is it possibler , specifically for me, a dedicated supporter of the Jamaica Lobour Party, in digesting the fact that once more we are under the regime of the People National Party.

Let us be realistic, our now elected leader Mrs Portia Simpson-Miller is a well recognized educated dunce, who lives under the preconceived perception that ‘being popular” is all it takes to perform constructive and necessary decision for the people of the country.

Wake up Jamaican, get out of the rut your brains are stuck in, open your eyes to the ramification of your unsavory voting decisions, and realize that you have once more made one of the biggest mistake of your lives.

Leders set example stop tear down each other let god be the head of the house and discipline the nation.

  3. Shelly says:

Zerish, you are more of a dunce than the people who voted PNP.
I am not a supporter of PNP but the fact remains PNP won and I live here and have to deal with whatever mess either party has created .The same mentality that you are portraying cause the JLP to lose the election. If people dont vote for JLP then they are dunce. Then this country is clearly made of mass of dunces.

It is time to done away with the ‘loyalist’ thinking. We should not be loyal to a party when it is doing wrong.

I am over 30 years old and I am not a supporter of either of the two parties. I look at issues and that is the down fall of the JLP. Jamaicans are becoming more cognizant of the issues that politicians need to tackle. The JLP have failed to deliver. I have never voted because the candidates that have being presented by both parties over the years in my constituency were not worthy of public offices. I am glad that the current one was voted out. Jamaicans love too much hand outs and that is what the JLP thinks is good governance. Short term contentment cannot solve the social problems that are becoming permanent residents of our communities.

JLP failed to complete the schools that were under construction. To-date, Steer Town High is a work-in-progress and has made the headlines countless of times for contractual mishandling. The other school for Northern St Ann is yet to brake ground. What about our pension that Mr. Holness threatened to interfere with; what about the high level of politics that is going on in the appointment of key position in the HEARTH TRUST and the Ministry of Education; how can a school be tagged failing school when there are no interventions for the past 7 years by the ministry of education after repeated call from the principal for HELP?

We need to look at issues! e-Learning project is dying a tragic death because the account that was established by Phillip Paulwell has been rolled into the consolidated fund by Bruce Golding. The project failed to deliver the high quality equipment that was promised under the PNP government. Instead the school got refurbished laptops with a one year warranty. What happen to the original plan for e-Learning? What happen JLP?

On the part of the PNP, they have their fair share of ills. The light bulb saga, the donations from overseas company and less than professional behaviour by many PNP officials. But can we forget how Warmington treated the journalist on CVM? Can we forget how Bobby Montique talked down to the matron in Portland, how the lady was insulted in the presence of media houses?

The JLP was much too ‘cocky’ and I am glad to see the back of them.

If the PNP joke they will be voted out in like manner.

So I pray for Jamaica. I have no plans to leave. I hope to continue serve my country in my small capacity. But I will not be named among corrupted public figures and political parties.

Do your best Mrs Simpson Miller, you have my support. I am praying for you. Let God lead, consult the people, listen to the opposition and skim the good out of their comments or suggestions and the country will move under God.

Zerish! You type of politics have died. You may be among the only set of dunce left in Jamaica.

    lets talk dunce & brilliance
    __brilliance-___
1—1st &2nd offences. REFURBISHING HOUSE approx $60M, THIS COULD BUY A BRAND NEW HOUSE plus finsh Steer Town High, VERY BRILLANT.!!!! 2nd offence approx. $160M refurbishing offices. Apparently the paint shops were very unfriendly to the Government of Jamaica.
2.Twenty six Haitian landed on our shores during the riots in Haiti. The SDA church house them for free and they stayed for six days before they were sent back home. However, it cost the GOVERNMEMT OF JAMAICA $6M for tin mackerel and rice VERY BRILLIANT.!!!
If only my dunce little brain knew that the cost of ten (five) gallon buckets of paint cost $100M, and six days of food for 26 persons cost $6M .Therefore the property on the Mandela Highway that cost THE GOVERNMENT of JAMAICA $600M must have been a bargain. I THINK I AM GETTING BRIGHTER.

The prime is young and very capable. He was minister of education however it takes mr golding to settle a stalemate between the minister of edcation and the teachers on the matter of the TEACHERS SERVICES COMMISSION.This resulted in principals and teachers appointments at schools to be suspended for almost one year. (GREAT PERFORMANCE MINISTER).

  7. Sam says:

This is the result of the masses, and must be respected. The minority need to take a good look at themself, the masses usually always right.
The PNP supporters is among some of the brightest we have in this country, and supported by almost every teachers, if you cant beat them, join them, because PNP will never be down for more than a term, and that is without exception. Mr. Holness did not do is homework, and should stayed for the full term, beating the PNP two time in a row? not in Jamaica.
I am not a scholar, but that’s how i see it, and it look like i am joining up.or moving out.
