Sunshine Girls Defeat South Africa

November 14, 2008

Jamaica stamped it’s class at home in the recently concluded NCB Sunshine Savers Tri-Nation Series held over 4 days at the National Indoor centre. Jamaica comfortably brushed aside Trinidad and Tobago 59-30 in their first game and then returned the following day to outclass South Africa 53-38

South Africa then defeated Trinidad and Tobago 51-41 to secure a spot in the final with Jamaica but after a spirited battle they could not hold back the mighty offense of Jamaica led by Romelda Aiken and they were shut out 61-47 in a very exciting final.
