Green Expo 2009 Information

‘Let’s Take Good Care of Jamaica’ is the tag-line for the 2009 staging of the environmental exposition or Green Expo. The Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust plans to revive the event which is usually held every two years but had fallen off the local event calendar in recent years.
The three day expo will run from June 5th – 7th 2009 at the National Arena in Kingston and will headline National Environmental Awareness Week and will also be the primary local event during World Environmental Awareness Week.
Green Expo 2009 aims to educate the public on good environmental practices as well as expose the public to environmentally-friendly products, services and practices. Dozens of presentations and exhibits are expected from government and non-government agencies, community-based organizations and individuals.
