Emancipation is located in the parish of St Andrew in the heart the bustling urban centre of New Kingston. The 7 acre park was created to be an oasis where persons in and around the area could retreat to be soothed by the Park’s scenery, birds, flowers and the occasional function. Completed in 2002 Emancipation Park was created to be a symbol of our Freedom to Hope, to Excel and to Be.
