Calabash Festival 2009 Information

Treasure beach in St Elizabeth and it’s environs are busy preparing for the 2009 Calabash International Literary Festival. The three day festival will run from May 22nd to 24th and will once again feature a long list of authors, presenters, entertainers and special guests.
Mission and Purpose
The Calabash Festival states that “the mission of the Calabash International Literary Festival Trust is to transform the literary arts in the Caribbean by being the region’s best-managed producer of workshops, seminars and
performances.”

As a poet myself I look forward to the Calabash festival. Every year my friend and Iwant to attend, then it rains. You may need to think of changing the time of the festival, too much rain.I look forward to performing on your festival one year.
