‘Babylon’ to Start Filming in Jamaica

Established actor Paul Giamatti and rising star Anthony Mackie will star in upcoming independent film named Babylon that is expected to begin filming in Jamaica starting next month. The producers of Babylon have been busy in Jamaica throughout Jamaica conducting casting calls at local schools in Kingston and Montego Bay as well as hosting open sessions at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre.

Plot Summary

According to the Internet Movie Database the plot summary for Babylon is as follows: A 12 year-old Jamaican boy from the ghettos of Kingston, a Rasta from the isolated hills of Jamaica and a white British Reverend must out run gangsters in a chase across Jamaica, if they hope to save the young boy’s father from certain death. In the course of their perilous journey, the unlikely trio find not only common ground but enlightenment.
